Time is flying by! We’re already three months into 2025, and the FlexPoint team has stayed busy building new features and functionalities. We’re always developing ways to make it easier for MSPs to get paid, and this latest product updates does just that.

That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of our new feature: Onboarding Forms. This feature simplifies client onboarding and ensures a seamless experience for both you and your clients.

Onboarding a new client is not small feat. Collecting payment information in a secure and compliant way is even more difficult.  

With our new onboarding form, we’ve automated and streamlined the process, so you can focus on what you do best: delivering exceptional service to your clients.  

Here’s how the new onboarding form can help you and your clients.

What Is the Onboarding Form?

The Onboarding Form is a simple, secure, and intuitive tool designed to collect essential information from new clients. It captures everything you need to get paid securely, including:

  • Personal details (e.g., name, email)
  • Company information
  • Payment method details (such as ACH or credit card details)

Once a client signs initial contracts, simply send them the link to your onboarding form to gather this information. It’s that easy.

Saves Time and Reduces Manual Work

Gone are the days of manually entering client details into multiple systems. When a client fills out your onboarding form, a customer record is automatically created in both FlexPoint and your accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks Online). This eliminates double data entry and ensures accuracy across platforms.

The onboarding form is designed to be completed by a single point of contact within your client’s organization. This means no confusion or duplication of effort—just a quick and easy process for your clients. You’ll receive an email notification as soon as the form is submitted, so you’re always in the loop.

The onboarding form is designed to securely capture credit card and ACH payment methods, which helps you maintain PCI compliance and ensures your clients’ data is protected. By centralizing payment collection within the form, you reduce the risk of errors and improve overall security practices.

If you’re approved for payment processing, the form also captures payment method details, making it easier to set up billing and ensure timely payments from your clients.

How It Works

  1. Send the Form: After signing a new client, navigate to Customers > Customers in FlexPoint to access the Onboarding Form link. Send it to your client’s primary contact.
  1. Client Completes the Form: Your client fills out the form with their details. It’s quick, straightforward, and designed for a single submission.
  1. Automated Record Creation: Once submitted, a customer record is automatically created in FlexPoint and your accounting system.
  1. You’re Notified: You’ll receive an email confirmation, so you know the form has been completed and the client’s record is ready to go.

We know you might have questions, so here are some quick answers:

  • Do I send the form to multiple people at my client’s company?
    No. The form is designed to be completed by one person.
  • Can clients edit the form after submission?
    After a client submits the information, you can edit the information within your accounting system or FlexPoint.
  • What if the form is filled out twice for the same company?
    Two customer records will be created, ensuring no data is lost.
  • Why wasn’t my client asked to add a payment method?
    Payment method collection is only available if you’re approved for payment processing.
